The Great Gatsby captures the atmosphere in 1920s Harlem very well, as well as having a simple yet effective plot; additionally, the pacing of this book was perfect. Though this book was great, I would say that sometimes the plot was hard to follow due to the old-fashioned language.
Moderate: Racial slurs
Minor: Death
