Forward: Stories of Tomorrow by Blake Crouch

3.5

Some quick thoughts on each story:

Ark - Veronica Roth (3⭐️)
I remember almost nothing about this book. It was fine but didn’t really stand out

Summer Frost - Blake Crouch (4⭐️)
The second half of this story got really weird, but it was still pretty good and fascinating

Emergency Skin - N.K. Jemisin (4⭐️)
Honestly probably my favorite of the stories. A lot of deception here and some very funny moments

You Have Arrived at Your Destination - Amor Towles (2⭐️)
First half was fine, the second half was a chaotic mix of sitcom filler episodes and drunken conspiracy theories. This is a lot of people’s favorite of the collection, but it was my least favorite by far.

The Last Conversation - Paul Tremblay (4⭐️)
The second half of the story absolutely makes this one worth it. Super twisted and dark, but in an entertaining way.

Randomize - Andy Weir (4⭐️)
If you like quantum numbers/physics, this one will be one you enjoy. I only wish it was longer because the story was over way too quickly for my liking
