Still Falling for You by Siobhan Davis
4.0

This second-chance rockstar romance hit all the spots and was definitely an angst filled ride that had me invested in Ryder and Zeta's story from the beginning. I truly couldn't put it down every time I picked it up. From young Ryder and Zeta meeting in juvie having come from troubled and tormented pasts, we can see their love manifest for each other in the unlikeliest of places.
.....
“Our environments, and our pasts, only define us, if we let them. We choose how to deal with the consequences, and you’re a fighter, a survivor, a good person, through and through."
.....
When the past comes calling, Ryder struggles immensely with the choices he makes for their protection. The journey between these two is broken and flawed, filled with traumas and the rawness of how mental health is affected by this. Ryder put me through the wringer quite a few times with the mistakes from his past and how he chose to deal with them, but I loved how Zeta dealt with everything and took time for herself the way that so many should when in a relationship or situation that comes with feeling overload.
.....
“Fate drove us apart, and now, it’s bringing us back together. Stop fighting the inevitable.”
.....
Siobhan writes the angst and rawness of aspects like these so well that you really feel those emotions and love between her characters, always delivering on the best angst and emotion filled romances.
