Ahh, Cole & Jae-Min!

I'd re-read the first series not long ago, when I couldn't afford new books, and enjoyed it even more the second time. Plus, it meant I needed no refreshers on who was who for this book. I was delighted that this series starts after Cole and Jae-Min have enjoyed five years married. That's a good solid base of understanding. Love that.

All that said, and aside from the murder mystery which was fine, this one wasn't quite as cleanly edited as previous books. The publisher's being awful to many of its authors, and while Ford supports them, maybe they're starting to fail her, too.

Here's what really counts; that setup at the end has me intrigued. That is the goal of every first book in a series.
