Wow, what a book. Very unique, impactful, moving, painful, creative, brutal. A book I will not forget about any time soon. It started a little slow but at 60% I couldn't put it down anymore. The writing style is very unique and unexpected, probably not enjoyed by every reader.

My only real criticism is that it sometimes felt like the voice of the main character fluctuated in age. Sometimes I read her as being about ten years old, other times 25. Maybe this was on purpose because the main character is mature for her age due to trauma, but it sometimes came across as incoherent and illogical.

I personally found some descriptions over the top (especially Cherry) and unnecessarily crass and disgusting. But on the other hand this was what really lifted the atmosphere of the book on this extra level. But it wasn't "pleasant".
