The Dawn of Yangchen by F.C. Yee

4.0

After reading some of the reviews, I agree that the book focuses too much on Kavik. But I have to be honest, while reading the book that didn't bother me mainly because I didn't pick up on that. Maybe I was too blinded by the potential romance (there's no maybe I was). Would the book have benefitted from a less Kavik-centered perspective? Yes, but after reading the ending, I don't know how F.C. Yee would make that work especially now since Kavik and his family have become an integral part of the story. Overall, I enjoyed the book, but there is room for improvement.
