We Are Wolves by Laurel Hightower, Cynthia Pelayo, Gemma Amor

4.0

A great anthology for a great cause! I am thoroughly impressed with the variety of themes and authors represented in We Are Wolves; some stories gritty, others poetic, all bringing something vastly important to the table. Women in horror at their finest, a very easy book to pick up and read a couple pages from at a time. Gripping and of course gory! I especially enjoyed The Curse of She, The Mutation of Almost Beautiful Things, and Extra Weight but as aforementioned, all the stories held aspects I enjoyed. Huge recommend for horror fans and of course for women and others interested in an evocative exploration of womanhood.
