The Ragpicker King brought me back into Castellane immediately, like I hadn’t been gone for long! Castellane is easily becoming one of my favorite fictional places. Cassie Clare’s writing is always so immersive, and talk about intrigue! Cassie is the best at building up conflict and bringing it to a head in the most dramatic, and usually unexpected, ways! This book nearly broke my heart. I cannot imagine what is going to happen next for Kel, Lin, and Conor. It seems the three of them are in impossible positions, but going along on their journeys is like spending time with old friends.

I listened to the audiobook and was rather pleased with how Fiona Hardingham and Christian Coulson brought Lin and Kel to life!
