On Loverose Lane
by Samantha Young
Wow, I was so excited when I heard this book was coming and it was everything and more. On Dublin Street was the first book of Samantha Young’s I read and immediately fell in love with Braden and Joss. Then I got hooked with the rest of the characters and books in this series. Now, we get Beth’s story, the eldest child of Braden and Joss. Beth is the perfect combination of her parents and is determined to make her business a success, no matter what. That includes Callan, who reappears in her life as her new neighbor in the building. These two have a past that they both have not seem to have forgotten. Callan is all about football and his teammates. Then when Beth strolls back into his life, things get turned upside down. Callan and Beth need each other to get what they want, which leads to striking up a deal. Then the more time they spend together, the chemistry becomes harder and harder to ignore. Callan and Beth take us on a wild, emotional journey that will tug at your heart strings, while breaking it and putting it back together in a beautiful new way. I could not put down this book. I devoured every page to see if Beth and Callan could put the past behind them and give it a shot or if it was all too much for them. Plus, add in all the hilarious banter between the Carmichael clan and Callan’s teammates. And don’t forget all our favorite people in the Carmichael clan that we get to revisit with and meet. On Loverose Lane will leave you feeling giddy and smile on your face, wanting more of the characters we’ve met in this book.
