Violent Ends by Jessica Hawkins

OK WHAT THE FUCK!!

This was sooooo much better than the first book. But first, THAT ENDING!!!! Woah is all I have to say...

I was gripped from the beginning. I could not put it down - I practically read it in one sitting. There was a lot more going on in this book compared to the first one AND I am HERE for this drama. I particularly loved the whole “everything is not what it seems” vibe. This whole book was a ride.

The author really developed the characters in this book. In the first book, I felt like Natalia was too weak and delicate but here she started to come into her own. AND Cristiano urgh it’s a rollercoaster I was conflicted by him in the first book but now I 100% am in love with him!!! I also loved how the author developed all of the side characters and took the time to explore their back stories (TW: conversations about physical abuse). It truly built the whole world and background to how they got there.

I have such high expectations for the final book now. Judging by the jump between Violent Delights to Violent Ends, I am practically jumping out of seat in excitement to read Violent Triumphs.
