I stumbled upon this book by happenstance and I'm glad I did. At parts it was winding and long-winded, but it was so affirming to read a story where everyone just accepted Orlando's identity full stop. And then to double down on that, the "biographer" absolutely shreds people who enjoy thinking they can "prove someone's gender and sex." The vibes of this satire and blatant middle finger to gender standards and binary was a ride.
