This was such a weird/absurd/surreal book.  There were definitely a lot of parts that made me hugely uncomfortable such as the cows, the use of the R word, the instances of sexual assault, trivializing self harm, the inclusion of 9/11 etc and I considered putting the book down many times. I don't think this book is for everyone.  I don't know why I didn't see the twist coming but I'm glad I was surprised.  The ending was good but it wasn't for me I don't think
