The beginning felt very dragged and the story took quite a while to get interesting, although the first book is mostly like this in fantasy series, so I kind of expected it. The second half of the book was a lot more interesting, although the character of Feyre still felt a bit flat to me. I have high hopes that the next books of the series will get better though, so I am definitely excited to continue reading it.
