i loved just about everything about this book; the story, the characters (tavo and gabe, my sweet precious baby booooys, you will be missed), the plot, the supernatural/spiritual elements, the culture, the writing... the only thing i didn't enjoy was the amount of times it made me cry 😭

i think it was a little slow, for lack of a better word, in the beginning, but took off in the latter half of the book and i definitely look forward to reading more from this author!
