Delia Hopkins has a pretty great life: she has a daughter and fiancé that she love, a successful search-and-rescue company, and the support of her widowed father, Andrew. When a policeman knocks on Delia's door one day, a horrible truth is revealed that makes Delia question everything that she thinks she knows about her life, family, and identity.
I only have TWO more Jodi Picoult books to read until I am fully caught up (Mad Honey and My Sister's Keeper, which I'm saving for last)! I'm surprised that Vanishing Acts ended up being near the end of my JP reading challenge- I think buying a physical copy that got lost on my shelves contributed. Vanishing Acts gave me major "The Face on the Milk Carton" vibes, in the best of ways. 4☆
