now listen...... dead poets society is my favorite movie so obviously i was so excited to read the book and trust me, i’m still glad i did. but honestly, it was so disappointing. there are a few scenes missing, like the one where todd chases neil around the room which is one of my favorites. not to mention the fact that knox is 100 times worse. he’s already a creep in the movie but in this book he literally s*xually assaults chris.......?? like that was so unnecessary but let’s go.
the writing was also not my favorite thing in the world and i feel like it didn’t do any justice to keating’s words. but as i said in the beginning, i’m still really glad i got the book. if you’re a big fan of the movie you will either love it or hate it if i’m being honest. there’s the whole aspect of being able to hold that beautiful story in your hands but there’s also...... everything i wrote here.
(i apologize for any mistakes, english isn’t my first language <3)
