General Comments: An enchanting tale; dulled by an unconvincing romance. Chapters alternate points of view, offering insight into the individual protagonists, but ultimately, the characters are atypical and under-developed. The gradual enemies-to-lovers, combined with a sudden anti-climactic love triangle, was under-whelming. Bone Crier Mythology saved it, with rich lore and religious elements.
