Wow. I'm sorry, but I genuinely despise this book. It is completely outdated and does not apply to modern day funeral directors. At the time this was written, there was a lot of corruption within the industry and it's great this was able to make a difference. That being said- I am in school to become a funeral director, and I promise you we are not evil conniving beings in this industry to rob you. We do whatever we can to serve families and our community. It is encouraged nowadays to shop around and find what's right for you. I'm thoroughly disappointed so many people review this with "great! now I know what to expect when making arrangements!" I cannot begin to tell you how untrue that is. Please take this book with a grain of salt!
