How to Date Men When You Hate Men
by Blythe Roberson
fast-paced
I spent the entire 6.5 hours of this book trying to come up with ways to write a scathing enough review for the absolute misery that is this book. Unfortunately for me, I was blinded by the title and didn’t read the reviews, so I had no clue the hell I was about to endure. I would’ve DNFed this book but I really, really want to get closer to my goal so I sat through the torture.
I picked up this book as a queer person expecting well thought out narratives that anyone who loves men can relate to. Instead, I wasted 6 hours of my life listening to a whiny millennial white woman talk about how oppressed she is by her inability to be emotionally mature enough to date. This book is the furthest thing from relatable. I’m sure this review will end up in her next post sandwiched between more whining about celebrities and her lack of conversational skills in a relationship.
Save yourself and skip this one at all costs.
