This book confused me for a long time. Is it a mystery? Is it a crime? Is it a thriller? It’s none of those entirely so it’s difficult for me to pinpoint, as I typically don’t enjoy reading any of those genres. But this hit me differently.
This is a story about relationships, more than anything else, and watching a family struggling to come to terms with their feelings around the death of their daughter and sister. Watching the dynamics play out was really interesting and moving and I couldn’t guess the events that led to the story’s climax. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and have already recommended it to other people.
