I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BOOK. The characters were so well written and three dimensional. Every time I thought Elsa or Loretta were going to choose a path or do something it always turned out the complete opposite. The story and plot were interesting, and I loved the year jumps and migration aspects from Texas to California. This made me want to do more research into the dust bowl and the social impacts it had. 10/10 would read another Kristin Hannah book again ALSO THE END MADE ME CRY.
