I read this a month ago and I still don’t know how to review it without spoilers. I loved Legendborn, I loved hearing Tracy Deonn speak at the Bloodmarked launch, and I loved Bloodmarked. 

 

The second book in a series is tough. The author has to expand the world, move things/people into place, and keep the momentum going. A lot of series struggle here, but Deonn DID it. We meet so many new people and magic folks, we leave Chapel Hill, we get more Alice, and we get one helluva cliffhanger. Also, Volition. I loved this place and the way she wrote about how it exists. 

 

Again, I loved it. I will be counting down until the next book is released, because Ms. Deonn, I need answers!!!!
