Cazadora by Romina Garber

So I (cough the library hold system) planned this nicely so that I finished [b:Lobizona|51179882|Lobizona (Wolves of No World, #1)|Romina Garber|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1571242220l/51179882._SX50_SY75_.jpg|72729786] right before this book was released so I could binge read the sequel immediately after the first. I didn't find the second one quite as compelling, although I was still impressed with the ability to extend and expand the world and the characters and the SOGI and immigration/belonging narratives in new ways.

Fwiw, one of my complaints from the first book was the erasure of race and I must not have been the only one because this sequel is very explicit in acknowledging like two Black characters and that there is "colorism" in Argentine society. So, like, not quite?
