I have always wanted to read this masterpice.
And William Peter Blatty's The Exorcist ived up way beyond the hype.
Blatty's witting is both beautiful and powerful, while even during the most disturbing momemts thew writing is so beautifuly it was like a dream.
I read the novel as a audiobook since Blatty narrated it.
It was a performance both terrifying and powerful.
Even after just rewaching the director's cut of the film , which Blatty wrpte the script it was almost suprising to see how word-for-word the film was. Expecily since book-to-movie adaptaions change things so much.
The novel and audiobooks were excelent.
