It's not life or death - just some of the great shit in between.

Okay Google, play If It All Goes South by Sammy Rae & The Friends...

I've read some really moving books lately, but somehow this is the one that makes me cry in the coffee shop I'm reading in.

This story is cheesy and predictable and spicy and funny, and I didn't think I'd like it as much as I do. The only reason it's not a 5 star read for me is because the last few chapters (basically from the festival to the ending) felt very rushed and DeWitt did not spend nearly enough time exploring Indy's feelings about Sage and Fisher but I digress.

Speaking of - our dog is named Indy, and my husband used to have a cat named Freya so see BOTH of those names as characters in this book was so wild to me, especially considering they're related characters. What a small world.

Anyway, I'll be thinking about this one for awhile. A deliciously delightful summer romance read.
