The March North by Graydon Saunders

Did not finish book. Stopped at 30%.

I read this book as part of a little fun thing with my husband where we picked each other's books but I ended up not being able to follow or understand at least 50% of what was happening. 

Not like I didn't understand the world, I literally didn't understand the actions that were taking place on page and kept having to ask questions. 

I think the author had a beautiful vision for a magic system but could really benefit from an editor.
