So, Friday Night Lies. I always enjoy C.W. Farnsworth is how I should start. I really enjoy her writing style as well as how we develop with the characters. It goes to show I enjoyed this novel. Is it my absolute favorite of hers, probably not. But I really did like Holden and Cassia and am excited to hear there will be a second novel. I think I didn’t connect as much due to the high school setting, but for what it’s worth I like getting this story as more of a prequel to the next novel with them later in life. If you’ve read a lot of Farnsworth, I think you will enjoy this novel. Overall, easy and enjoyable read, but nothing super unique (yet).
