The Venue
by T.J. Payne
God, I love this book. I think this is my 4th time re-reading it. It’s one of my favorite formulas for entertainment; strangers (a mix of nefarious, selfish & selfless) in an isolated location (cabin in the woods/private island/haunted house lockdown) brought together for a singular purpose (reading of a will, family reunion, reality tv show) and discover that there’s more involved than anyone could have guessed! Anyone on the fence: if you enjoyed the movie "The Menu" with Ralph Fiennes, you'll love this.
Here's how I casted the book:
Caleb played by Christopher Gorham
Lilith played by Samara Weaving
Amy played by Rashida Jones
Mariko played by Ayaka Miyoshi
Amy's Mom played by Penelope Wilton
Amy's Dad played by Jim Broadbent
