Ah! It was so fun being back in the world of the Iron Druid! I didn't realize how much I had missed Atticus and Oberon and the gang until I started reading this book!
It was great and full of vampires, fae, several Gods from different Pantheons, and sausage! It wasn't what I expected it to be but I really enjoyed it nonetheless. Atticus and Oberon were awesome and Owen stole the show while Granuaile was more serious and kind of a downer. Oberon made me laugh every time he came on page like he's wont to do. And I'm happy to finally know why you never want to be Nigel in Toronto. :) It definitely was different from what I was expecting.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book but it wasn't my favorite. I'm sad that it's the second to last book in this series and I'm curious to see how everything comes together in the last book. It's going to be one hell of a ride getting all the plots tied up. I can't wait to read it!
