Anna knew what she was doing when she chose this title. This book shattered my heart for sure. Make sure to check the trigger warnings if you have triggers. I just loved the pacing of this one. The way the relationship between Jade and Prescott builds up is beautiful. Two people who are a little bit broken finding solace in each other. For now they are only leaning on one another and I hope for the next book they will learn to help and lean each other. Have your tissues ready. It's a rollercoaster ride. The story features some of my favorite tropes like: enemies to lovers and brother’s best friend. Love how Prescott was possessive of Jade, it was done in the way I like. This one is full of secrets and we haven’t even gotten to the bottom of all of them. I am sure that Anna will do them justice in the next book and I cannot wait to read it.
