This definitely leans more on the romantasy side of fantasy, which might be part of why it wasn't quite to my taste. The world-building and ideas about magic were actually really interesting, but I got bogged down in the writing. The main character was just so easily manipulated, and it eventually got to be quite frustrating. I also didn't really feel the chemistry between her and either love interest, and the prose could get a bit repetitive at times.
