read for school. first book i've been assigned that I actually read, and I'm not sorry that I did. I'm an atheist, but this gave me hope that there actually might be something or someone waiting for me when I die. I hope more than anything that there is an afterlife of any kind, so I won't just fade away into nothing. My eyes welled 2 times near the end of this book, and the fifth person was so heartbreaking.
