Overall it was a good read! I love the idea behind the book but was hoping it would have ended differently. The witchy, save the environment vibe didn’t really sync up with the revenge aspect. I would have liked more character development for the witchy family and less of Steve’s nonsense lol
The ending was a bit too wrapped up in a nice bow for me. Tess sucked in her own way and nine months couldn’t make her a better person.
Some things stood out as odd to me - leather, silk, and chainsaws wouldn’t be items that people who care about the planet so deeply would be using. Leather production is very harmful to the planet and chainsaws cause air and noise pollution. Those things and some other minor errors could have been picked up by a good editor.
