Like most Eva Chase books I've read, you know what you're in for when you start and there's a comforting predictability to the series progression. With that there's still twists and little bits of information that keep the reader engaged and wondering. With this being the close to the series I was looking forward to seeing how she interacted with all her mates together and I wasn't disappointed. It's hopeful for the shifter communities as a whole when Ren smoothes things between the individual Alphas and for her to go out of her way to heal the old wounds with the fae just supports her characters personality so well. She truly wants the peace she's looking for to be for everyone. I loved seeing West soften up a little bit and Marco back into his confidence and snark. I look forward to reading the Christmas novella too.
