Ever since a certain book I pretend doesn't exist happened, I don't trust this author. So I have a hard time with her new stuff. But I decided to give this one a shot since it was an apparent standalone...so what's the worst that could happen!?
I'm happy to report that it's all good. Definitely has a HEA, there was some butt kicking (both physically and verbally) and it was an enjoyable book. It takes me back to the feels of the first book I read by this author.
All in all, enjoyable.
