Blindsided by Victoria Denault

5.0

I am subscribed to the podcast "First Chapters with Sarina Bowen" and I was so excited to see a Moo U novel featured. Once I heard the first chapter of Blindsided by Victoria Denault, I was hooked and so excited to hear the rest. Rival college students called to the police station to deal with their arrested, feuding, small-town grandfathers? What fun! Gimme gimme! Narrators Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon were fantastic as always- they are favorites of mine and when I see them credited on an audiobook, it's a sure bet that I'll find it enjoyable. Denault's writing was so good and she captured the magic of the Sarina Bowen's World of True North and all the Vermont setting offers readers. The antics at the farmers market were laugh out loud funny and such a treat. I loved seeing Tate and Maggie's relationship grow and change as they got to know each other. I thought the ending was so clever and learning the background of the feud between the two families was quite the plot twist. I am loving the Moo U series and can't wait for more.
