Isla and the Happily Ever After
by Stephanie Perkins
I first read these books a little more than 6 years ago now. 6 years, but not much has changed. While I'm not quite as enthusiastically in love with them as I was then, because I was a tad crazed, this book and the other two in the series are ones that I always come back to. When I need a book that I know will captivate me and get me back into the groove of reading, this series is one of the first places I go. Are the main characters a little frustrating and bratty at times? Yes, they are. But so was Harry Potter. I would recommend these books to anyone who is looking for a quick pick-me-up that is extremely predictable yet pretty entertaining and doesn't mind just a little childishness now and then. I promise all 3 of the main guys are incredibly swoon-worthy.
Oh, and this one specifically was my favorite of the 3, so I extra recommend it!
