A complete waste of time. The plot is basically non existent because what do you mean this entire book took place in the span of barely 2 days!?
Pacing is incredibly inconsistent. It’s slow yet extremely rushed. Almost every single scene dragged causing the story to lack progression; however the romance in this book was like a sprint making it head scratching because Alizeh and Cyrus have only know each other for like less than 2 days. The prose is redundant and the main characters aren’t as likable as the first book. In fact, the characters act like different people reduce to just shells of their former selves. Cyrus and Hazan are the most interesting characters in this entire book… and that’s not saying much 🫤
