Nothing But Blackened Teeth by Cassandra Khaw

3.0

It’s definately atmospheric; it seeps of dark and eerie feeling. I was also struck by how quick we discover Cat’s suicide idealisation & stuggle with mental illnesses.. which starts of really great for an horror novel, I have to say. I found so many phrases worth highlighting!

The writing is so much more “creative” than what my mind is acquainted to: the english being so rich that I feared I couldn’t be able to get through it, when however being surprised that I get through it that quickly! The english being too hard for me definately removed some beauty off the ending, in the end.. I just- not sure I know what I just read it also kinda felt too short & rushed- everything happening so fast you don’t have time to register.
