Aurora's End by Jay Kristoff, Amie Kaufman

Overall, I really enjoyed this series, but this was a bit of a let down for a final book in a trilogy. The plot was extremely predictable and having the Squad split for most of the story took away the fun dynamics I loved so much in the first two. I became really irritated with the overuse of the vernacular, especially the words be'shmai and brother - like, we get it, Kal is a different race to the Terrans. I did think the Rahaam being defeated by the *ultimate power of love* and then just choosing to leave was SUCH a cop out considering the three book build up, but it is YA so I did kind of expect it. I liked the concept of the time loop and the paradox, it felt very Doctor Who which I vibed. All in all, not terrible but it needed some editing.
