The tropes for this book had me so excited but it fell just a little flat for me. Not terrible and I had fun reading but just wasn’t ecstatic about it. The lack of communication trope is not my fave and it got annoying at times. They loved each other so much for so long, and wish we would have seen a little more pining and groveling from Cillian. He had a mouth on him though, and I really appreciate that.
