A Dutiful Boy by Mohsin Zaidi

I found this memoir filled with hope, love, ambition and anger.

The journey wasn’t easy but it’s great to hear of the fantastic outcome and such a fantastic example of pride within the Muslim community.

It captures so many journeys and really is a fantastic book to pick up. We explore Mohsin’s spiritual journey, which is far from linear.
His sexual journey, one of self awareness and acceptance before anything else.
An inspiring story of a young person from humble beginnings making a developing successful career after navigating one of the top universities.
This is all told with humour and well as raw emotions but for me I did feel there was still things being held back and a little formal.
