The Book of Lost and Found by Lucy Foley

Worth reading if only for the evocative way that the author writes about Sardegna.

Lucy Foley writes two kinds of books; I first came to her through her contemporary mysteries (The Hunting Party and The Guest List), but she has also written several historical fiction novels, of which this is one. I almost wish they were written under different names, because when I'm reading one of the latter, it makes it hard for me to let go of the expectations I have based on the mysteries.

That said, I enjoyed this book and its depictions of grief and loss felt true to me.
