I really like the overall story here with the pack, the demon and Simon/Cormac entering that world.
Additionally, Macy Blake can write some of the best book-kids ever. I thought it couldn't get better than Garon, and then enters Riley. (They do not take the cake from the kids from [b:Sweet Nothings|41953790|Sweet Nothings (The Chosen One, #0.5)|Macy Blake|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1537475739l/41953790._SY75_.jpg|65460325], though, as they are some of the best book-kids I've ever read.)
However, I never got into the Cade/Rocky pairing. I think it was because a lot of the focus of the book is on other aspects of the plot, so they didn't get too much page-time together.
