Talk about a slow burn! BUT I think it was perfect considering the characters’ personalities. This is the first book I read by this author, and I already have the next one lined up. I enjoyed the writing and sense of humor. The characters were beautiful people. Everything felt realistic, and I think that's what I enjoyed most. There wasn't any unnecessary drama or miscommunication. When something happened between any of the characters, they worked it out almost immediately. I felt calm while reading it.
It's a beautiful story of love in its various forms, acceptance, grief(Ora basically lost her mom twice; it'll make sense once you read it) and growth.
