Metro 2034
by Andrew Bromfield, Dmitry Glukhovsky
Metro 2034 really wasn’t what I was expecting. When a book is labeled as a book two, you expect some characters to be from the first book, but Artyom, who I cheered for in Metro 2033 is just a side character here.
Metro 2034 explores other parts of the Metro community. Living in the Russian subway lines, humans are trying to adapt to life below ground, because the surface isn’t just a nuclear wasteland, but it is also home to some terrifying monsters.
