This story was exactly what I needed today. 
 
I liked how the story is built, how the tension and angst grow as we begin to understand the love/hate dynamic between Wes and Violet in their tumultuous relationship. 
There are a few flaws due to inconsistencies in their behavior (the back-and-forth between love and hate feels a bit rushed and repetitive). 
 
Now, I’m really curious about Trey’s story in the third book (release planned on 2025). Because W-T-F.
