This book is the definition of pining and tension. The thing about crushes is that sometimes they go away and sometimes they don’t. In the main characters cases, the hands were dealt and shown early on. I was ready for some lame irrational reason as to why they couldn’t be together and then logic and reasoning and perspective came in. But the tension it built because of it just kept snowballing in a beautiful way. Once the burn started it just got more satisfying.
