Did not finish book. Stopped at 2%.

Something about this book just ircks my the wrong way. Imma be honest, I picked it up because I liked the cover, and the blurb sounded really interesting but I started (and only got to p. 12)and it just instantly felt wrong. Reading some of the reviews here on Storygraph really made clear, that somehow I was right in my (completly unfounded and just based on gut instinct) assumption that there's something off with Catling (and with something I mean mysoginy and racism). I will pit the book back on my tbr, maybe I'll read it at one point to paint my own picture, but for now it's out.
