Blood and Treachery by JD Kirk
4.0
This is book 4 in the DCI Jack Logan series and is based in Scotland. This book follows Jack and his team as they investigate a murder that looks like a gandland style execution.
JD Kirk has a real knack of being able to describe the beauty, the vastness of the Scottish locks and mountains, but also to describe how dismal some of the poorer areas , particularly in Glasgow, are, his ability to build a plot and his characters, and weave all of the plot twists and things you never see coming within the story that makes you want to keep on reading. He is an excellent story teller and is probably one of my favourite crime/thriller authors, and I'm pleased to say this book did not disappoint1
I can't wait to read the next book in this series!
